QA Engineer (Automation) - 5 Months Contract.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using the Gauge framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand requirements and provide valuable input. Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects using bug tracking tools. Perform regression testing to validate software releases and ensure no new issues are introduced. Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on test automation. Proficiency in test automation scripting using programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with the Gauge framework is a plus. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla). Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software development processes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is an advantage.
