Our main product is the BeNeering Digital Procurement Platform . It uses AI-powered guidance and automation to make indirect procurement easy. The platform connects to SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA in real time, so SAP remains the system of record while employees shop in a modern, intuitive interface that feels like a web shop. Many of our customers use it as the modern replacement for SAP SRM. BeNeering is privately owned and has no outside investors. We don’t chase short-term targets. We build long-term partnerships and develop our product together with our customers About the Job Do you design AI solutions that hold up in production, write solid Python, and enjoy being the person customers trust to deliver? At BeNeering you will architect and build AI features for procurement used by global companies, and run customer projects end to end. Responsibilities Design the architecture of AI solutions for our procurement platform, including LLM-based assistants, AI agents, retrieval (RAG) and machine learning models Develop production-grade Python services and APIs, from prototype to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement Run customer projects independently: scope requirements, plan and estimate, deliver, and report progress to customer stakeholders Lead workshops and explain technical concepts clearly to both business users and IT teams Integrate AI services with SAP systems (S/4HANA, SAP BTP) and with our cloud platform, working closely with our SAP developers and consultants Ensure AI solutions are secure, reliable and compliant with data protection rules, including GDPR and the EU AI Act Evaluate new AI technologies and models, set technical standards, and mentor colleagues across Germany and Poland Who You Are University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong Python skills (for example FastAPI, pandas, testing, packaging) Proven experience designing and shipping AI/ML solutions to production, such as LLM applications, RAG, agents or classic ML models Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and frameworks, vector databases and prompt engineering Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), Docker, CI/CD and REST APIs Track record of running customer projects on your own, from requirements to delivery Excellent communication skills in English: able to present, run workshops and explain complex topics simply Experience with SAP (S/4HANA, SAP BTP or SAP AI Core) or ERP integration Knowledge of procurement or supply chain processes Experience with Kubernetes, MLOps and model evaluation Experience with transformers and finetuning of language models is a plus Fluent in German is a plus Why Work With Us Take on responsibility from day one and help shape our company and technology Contribute your ideas to a fast-growing team with flat hierarchies Use AI in your daily work and bring new ideas to how we work Work closely with experienced experts from procurement and technology Individual bonus payments based on performance Flexible hours that adapt to your schedule, whether you’re an early bird or a night owl A hybrid model that combines office time and working from home A laptop and company phone, which you can also use privately Additional days off on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve Regular team events and an annual company event with networking opportunities Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
